Does NexLens replace a lawyer?
No. NexLens supports first-pass review and issue identification. A qualified person should make final legal and commercial decisions.
Can I analyze without a playbook?
NexLens is designed around playbook-grounded review. Create or upload a playbook first so findings reflect your organization’s standards rather than generic preferences.
Why can’t I preview an older playbook?
Playbooks uploaded before source preservation was introduced retained only extracted text. Reattach the PDF or DOCX to enable the original-document preview.
What should I do if analysis fails?
- Confirm the file is a supported PDF or DOCX and is within the displayed size limit.
- For camera scans, capture clear pages in first-to-last order.
- Retry once after checking your connection.
- If the problem continues, contact support with the time of the attempt and file type. Do not email the confidential contract unless support specifically requests a secure transfer.
